NFL Players’ Incredible Houses & Cars: Only Top Players Could Afford!

Eli Manning – Quogue, Estimated $8.5 Million

When New York Giants‘ quarterback, Eli Manning, wanted to purchase a property, he looked to Quogue, South Hamptons and found a 3-story beachfront estate for $8.5 million. The 7,000 square feet mansion includes five bedrooms, four baths, a large pool, and a patio at the back. It sits on over 1.2 acres of land, with a private walkway to the beach. Despite the likely exorbitant house insurance, Manning sure enjoys his small slice of heaven. Manning can call himself well-accomplished these days because he has won the Super Bowl twice already.

Philip Rivers – San Diego, Estimated $3.5 Million

Starting quarterback for the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers’ Philip Rivers has worked his way up from being the quarterback that could easily be traded for Eli Manning (props if you get the reference) to fifth-best all-time among NFL quarterbacks. But when he isn’t piling up stats in his favor, Rivers is enjoying the millions he earns from all of his hard work – and his $3.5-million mansion in the exclusive Santaluz development north of San Diego is evidence that the athlete likes life’s more elegant things (recently, he bought another real estate property).

Joe Montana – Marina District, San Francisco, Estimated $2.7 Million

The NFL legend, Joe Montana, took some time to find the ideal property for him. Before buying his luxurious apartment in San Francisco’s Marina District, this Hall of Famer tried to sell his Napa mansion for $49 million without success. Despite the fact it’s worth significantly more, he ended up selling his home for $35 million.  He had similar issues with his $4 million Millennium Tower condo but he finally found peace in his new $2.7 million home.  On top of two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, there is a formal dining room as well and an updated kitchen.

Tom Brady – Brookline, Estimated $4.5 Million

When they aren’t commuting back and forth for their various jobs in their private jet or Rolls-Royce Ghost, celebrity couple Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen retire to their $4.5-million property in Brookline, Massachusetts that they call home. Considering the mansion comes fully decked with five bedrooms, six baths, a sunroom, gym, office with a library, wine storage room, and a chef’s kitchen with a pantry, it seems like the perfect investment as parents. This mansion is undoubtedly going to be part of somebody’s inheritance, and you can rest assured they are going to be super happy about it.

Peyton Manning – Denver, Estimated $4.5 Million

In his days as a quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos, Peyton Manning was considered a top-notch player in the NFL scene. And even when he decided to retire, he wasn’t relenting in his pursuit of excellence. Peyton Manning is the owner of an incredible 16,464 square feet property in Chevy Hills Village, Denver. The estate was bought for $4.57-million and it had a total of seven bedrooms. The mansion simply suggests that the former quarterback won’t be out of money anytime soon. Overall, the three-story home will be a great inheritance for his kids.

Rob Gronkowski – Boston, Estimated $2.2 Million

New England Patriots ex-tight end, Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski has it rough when he is out on the field. Little wonder he chooses to kick his feet up in style in a $2.2-million 6th floor penthouse apartment in the Fort Point neighborhood located in Boston’s Seaport District. The 2,063 square feet property boasts everything from a private roof deck to two parking spaces indoors/outdoors. Despite winning Super Bowl LII with the Patriots in 2019, Gronkowski is already retired from the NFL as of today.

Russell Wilson – Mercedez Benz G-Class, Estimated $135K

Russell Wilson has had quite a lucrative career so far – in 2015, his $87.6-million contracts as the Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback made him the second-highest-paid player in the NFL at the time. And with that kind of money in his bank account, you can be sure that the star quarterback doesn’t hold back on his expenses. Wilson drives a sleek Mercedez Benz G-Class complete with a voice recognition sound system and anti-theft auto insurance suitable for the luxurious ride. He will certainly leave a legacy as one of the society’s high fliers.

Antonio Brown – Rolls-Royce Phantom, Estimated $500K

After having been a proud member of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ since 2010, Antonio Brown is gradually easing his way to internet legend status as a remarkable voice on social media. He had so much pride in his team at the time that he had his brand-new Rolls-Royce Phantom painted in the team colors of yellow (stripe down the center) and his signature blown up on the side. With the customized features, the car is estimated to have cost him more than $500K. Now we can see where a small chunk of his earnings is being spent.

Odell Beckham Jr – Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, Estimated $500K

At only 32 years old, former New York Giants wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr., has made it to Forbes‘ list of “30 under 30.” And considering his sponsorship deal with Nike, it looks like he might be making a few more lists before he clocks 40. His choice of investment is a car collection that currently includes a red Ferrari, fully customized Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG, Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, and a McLaren MP4-12C. No cheap auto insurance for his babies, that’s for sure.

Colin Kaepernick – Jaguar F Type, Estimated $100K

Colin Kaepernick might currently be a free agent, but his time as a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers came with a few long-lasting dividends. Kaepernick is the proud owner of not one but two Jaguar F Type units which he was said to have bought on the same day but in different colors.  Considering how much money he must have been making to afford the luxury cars, it is a mystery why he chose to bail on a chance at keeping the steady stream of income and become self-reliant. After a long legal battle with the NFL, Kaepernick finally reached a settlement and seems happy with life.

Reggie Bush – Lamborghini Aventador, Estimated $450K

Before becoming a free agent, running back Reggie Bush was associated with some top players in the NFL – including the Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions, and the San Francisco 49ers. But while his team preference has changed overtime rapidly, his love for cars has remained constant. With a legacy as the most outstanding player in the nation and a bank account bursting at the seams, it only makes sense that his choice of cars is luxurious. His fleet is valued at $3.5 million, with the $450K-2011 Lamborghini Aventador being an all-time favorite.

Richard Sherman – Seattle, Estimated $2.3 Million

Former star cornerback of the Seattle Seahawks Richard Sherman takes credit for leading his team to victory for the last seven seasons. And off the field, the 29-year-old does an equally good job of spending his earnings. His $2.3 million, 9,4350 square feet mansion in Maple Valley is a testament to his lavish lifestyle; and with the house’s billiards room, game room, and full-sized basketball court, it is easy to see that it is always a sporting affair with this NFL star. In 2018, Sherman started a new career with the San Francisco 49ers.

Vernon Davis – Bentley Continental GT Convertible, Estimated $200K

When Vernon Davis isn’t playing tight end for the Washington Redskins, the former Denver Broncos & San Francisco 49er treats himself to a ride in one of his many luxury cars. The self-acclaimed ‘car-guy’ boasts an impressive fleet, almost as vast as his career portfolio. His most significant ownership is a $200K Bentley Continental GT Convertible. To say that he is enjoying the dividends of his labor would be putting it mildly. As of today, Davis has already won one Super Bowl championship but it was back in 2016 with the Denver Broncos.

DeMarcus Ware – Denver, Estimated $1.3 Million

When recently retired Denver Broncos linebacker and defensive end, DeMarcus Ware left his Dallas mansion for a three-level townhouse, we could have easily assumed that it was because of money troubles. But considering his new property is located in the ultra-exclusive Cherry Creek North neighborhood in Denver and had cost $1.37 million, it safe to say that Ware is simply enjoying retirement on a luxurious (but toned down) scale. Ware has been officially retired from the NFL since 2017 and in 2018, he was seen competing on Dancing with the Stars

Joe Haden – Lamborghini Aventador, Estimated $1.1 Million

Joe Haden has a penchant for acquiring Lamborghinis – but it isn’t too hard to understand given his position in the Cleveland Browns. We only hope that a man with enough money to purchase more than one Lamborghini has the sense to acquire premium car insurance policies to accompany them. But more importantly, we hope he has the intuition to toss some of his earnings into investments as well – so bankruptcy never forces him to part with his shinies. Haden already won two Super Bowls with the Browns but he has been playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers since 2017.

Patrick Peterson – Scottsdale, Estimated $2.6 Million

What does Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson do with his football money? Well, the investment-savvy athlete seems to know his way around the real estate property market. He boasts a $2.692-million, one-acre home in guarded-gated Paradise Manor Estates community in Scottsdale. Evidently, a chunk of his earnings went into the purchase, but with a home this exquisite, you don’t need much of anything else anyway. Back in 2018, Peterson was able to participate in his eighth Pro Bowl game. He also takes credit for being a four-time First-team All-Pro already.

Larry Fitzgerald – Mercedes Benz SL550, Estimated $100K

For the wide receiver, Larry Fitzgerald, there is nothing better to spend your hard-earned money on than a fleet of luxury cars. The Arizona Cardinals player boasts everything from a restored classic Mustang Shelby and a turbo-charged 1970 Dodge Charger to a silver Mercedes Benz SL550 that had cost over $100K and happened to be his favorite. With a savings account like his, we can’t complain – however, premium auto insurance policies are a must for these gems. Fitzgerald has no Super Bowl wins yet but he was part of eleven Pro Bowls already.

Brandon Marshall – Southwest Ranches, Estimated $5 Million

After signing a two-year, $12 million contract with the New York Giants, Wide receiver Brandon Marshall let go of his off-season Southwest Ranches – Florida mansion at only $5 million (asking price). But while he is currently living in a rented apartment in New Jersey, the star athlete is also keeping an eye out for a property to purchase – because, what is the point living in a home you can’t mortgage for a loan, right? Marshall was most recently part of the New Orleans Saints but as of today, he is said to be a free agent.

Frank Gore – Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé, Estimated $350K

Former Indianapolis Colts‘ running back and former San Francisco 49ers‘ Frank Gore is a fan of luxury cars. The most recent addition to his collection is the 2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé with an all-black exterior instead of the typical two-tone original paint job. Even without the color change, this high-end gentlemen’s car costs around $350K. In March 2019, he signed a new deal with the Buffalo Bills for $2 million. Although, this new contract of his reportedly only has a one-year duration. He currently takes credit for being the oldest NFL running back who is still active.

Russell Wilson – Bellevue, Estimated $6.7 Million

When he isn’t cruising around in his G-wagon, Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback, Russell Wilson, is tucked under the covers of his 10,700 square feet property with his wife, R&B singer Ciara, their daughter, and their two dogs. Between the combined earnings of the man of the house and his R&B star wife, we can safely say that there won’t be any foreclosure on this property in the foreseeable future. Wilson has been with the Seahawks since 2012 and he already has one Super Bowl championship and six Pro Bowls under his name.

Darren McFadden – Buick Centurion, Estimated $100K

Darren McFadden’s taste in cars can be described in one word – colorful. The Dallas Cowboys’ running back and former Oakland Raiders boasts of owning six vehicles, including a silver Bentley Continental GT, Cadillac Escalade, and the showstopper – his 1973 Buick Centurion with tricked-out oversized wheels. And after spending a chunk of his earnings on assembling the fleet, he sure didn’t hold back on car insurance – with car accidents and armed robberies being rampant these days, you can’t be too safe (or too insured). After ten NFL season, McFadden officially retired from playing back in 2017.

Devin Hester – Chevrolet Impala, Estimated $250K

Now a free agent, former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Devin Hester should be cutting back on expenses a tad. But Hester doesn’t live like he envisages money troubles and his fleet of customized tricked-out cars suggests that he is quite corky on the subject. But while we question his investment prowess, we can’t help but admit that his $250K, 1972 red Chevrolet Impala is quite impressive. Well, considering how much money was spent on purchase and customization, it is not hard to see why. Hester retired in 2017 and he is now busy attending to his non-profit organization called the Devin Hester Foundation.

Carson Palmer – Del Mar, Estimated $25 Million

For Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback and former Oakland Raiders (and Cincinnati Bengals), home is an 8,000 square feet property in the city of Del. Carson Palmer purchased half an acre of land for $4.4 million and spent $20 million in the construction and designing of the house. For a home that could quickly go for twice its construction cost, we can say that Palmer could make quite the investment savvy businessman. However, the 3-story estate is not for sale (yet), but if it were and you want it, you’d be needing a huge home loan.

Delanie Walker – Buick Skylark Coupé, Estimated $50K

For vintage lovers, Tennessee Titans’ tight end Delanie Walker’s choice of vehicle is quite reasonably swoon-worthy. The 1970 Buick Skylark Coupé is a prized treasure for those who collect these all-American rides, and the blue beauty received some modern makeovers to keep on rolling. Forget its cost; being a vintage car, the auto insurance on this baby is sure to make your bank account cringe. Back in 2018, Walker’s contract with the Titans was extended for another two years. $12.6 million was reportedly guaranteed from the $17 million-worth contract. We wonder if he’ll be adding more vintage rides to his collection soon.

Robert Griffin III – Aldie, Estimated $2.5 Million

Between his time as a quarterback for the Cleveland Browns and then the Washington Redskins, Robert Griffin III aka RG3 amassed enough earnings to afford his $2.5-million property in Aldie, Virginia that takes up 9,000 square feet. The luxury house has five bedrooms, four baths, a wine cellar, Jacuzzi, game and media room, indoor elevator, wet bar, mudroom and spa, and a vast golf course. Unfortunately, being a free agent, he has been forced to put the mansion on the market – we do hope this doesn’t signal money troubles.

Marshawn Lynch – Richmond, Estimated $3.3 Million

Who wouldn’t love the kind of 7,000 square feet waterfront property that former Seattle Seahawks and Buffalo Bills player Marshawn Lynch boasts of? The current Oakland Raiders running back has a mansion that has a total of five bedrooms, six baths, and a customized 58-foot boat dock for his water toys with a breathtaking view of the San Francisco Bay. The real estate property seems like the right choice to spend one’s earnings on. With a house like this, we wouldn’t be surprised if it has a state-of-the-art alarm system.
