When Elton John spent Nearly Half A Million Dollars on Flowers Alone

Sir Elton John is so rich that he doesn’t care about the amount of money he spends.

The musician who has been a legend in the music industry for a long time now once made buying flowers newsworthy. Elton John has reportedly paid an approximate $450,000 on flowers with his credit card. These special flowers were for John Reid, his former boyfriend as well as manager. Who could beat that record in the '90s?

John has acquired so much wealth that he may not know on what to spend it. The flowers he has spent that fortune on came over a period of 20 months and they must have been some special flowers. That floral budget is one of the musician’s craziest expenditures.

It is no longer a secret that he would not leave his fortune for his kids but to charity. Sir Elton takes his inspiration from billionaire Warren Buffet, who is leaving half of his fortune to charity and less to his kids.

And while the musician may not be extravagant in not leaving all of his money for his kids, he surely knows how to spoil them with privileges and wealth. Once, when one of his kids wanted a playhouse, he didn’t get just a playhouse.

He bought the next property to him and equipped it for the boy. These days, Sir Elton is busy propagating social causes and supporting humanitarian projects.
